Les acousmodules constituent un ensemble de plugins
qui peuvent être considérés comme système
modulaire pour la création sonore multiphonique. Pensez plutôt
à un système de synthèse comme Eurorack
plutôt qu'à un outil de spatialisation et vous verrez
que leur nombre se justifie tout à fait ;-). Alors vous trouverez ci-dessous un certain nombre
de questions concernant les cas de figure les plus courants avec
quelques pistes de recherche, suivies d'un grand tableaux qui récapitule l'ensemble des plugins par
catégorie et type de traitement. Ils sont accompagnés d'une description succinte
qui
devrait permettre de savoir d'un coup d'œil si l'un d'entre eux

Acousmodules are a set of plugins that can be
considered as a modular system for multiphonic sound creation. Think
instead of a synthesis system like Eurorack rather than a spatialization
tool and you will see that their number is perfectly justified ;-). You will find below some questions about what

Depuis l'été 2023 la série
des SpatStruments constitue à la fois une entrée dans
le monde des Acousmodules, et un ensemble de production quasi complet
(avec les MiniTools) qui peut se suffire à lui-même
pour tous les formats possédant jusqu'à 24 canaux.
Ces plugins sont également optimisés pour mieux s'intégrer
avec les dispositions standards du cinéma, et bénéficient
de certaines améliorations de détail et, globalement,
d'un meilleur support. |
Since summer 2023, the SpatStruments series constitutes
both an entry into the world of Acousmodules, and an almost complete
production set (with the MiniTools) which can be sufficient in itself
for all formats with up to 24 canals. These plugins are also optimized
to better integrate with standard cinema layouts, and benefit from
some detail improvements and overall better support. |

6. Les fichiers de configuration spatiale / Spatial configuration files |

Un système d'exportation/importation de fichiers de
configuration spatiale a été mis en place début
2022 pour les plugins qui
sont basés sur une représentation symbolique de la
disposition des points haut-parlants (soit à peu près
la moitié des Acousmodules). Ces fichiers permettent l'échange
de ces configurations de base indépendamment des réglages
des Presets propres à chacun. |
A spatial configuration file backup system
has been implemented in early 2022 and it is currently being rolled
out to plugins concerned, namely most of those which are based on
a representation symbolic of the layout of the loudspeaker points
(about half Acousmodules). These files allow the exchange of these
basic configurations independently of the settings of the Presets
specific to each plugin. |
