As I have said the introduction page, only a few AcousModules are available for OS X, and they are generally more limited than their equivalents for Windows.
The principal reason is due to the limits in GUI control in Sonicbirth which is used to make them, and also the fact that its developpment has been stopped since the begin of 2006.

Here are some updated versions from Raphaël Neron. They have full presets support and must work better within Leopard. Many thanks to him !

In all cases, I advise you to use Octogris from the University of Montreal, that can use up to 32 channels in 2D. And for Reaper users, the upcoming 4.0 version will have ReaSurround, a 3D 64 channels surround module which has all the possible refinements !

The archives contain both the VST and AU versions, and don't forget : you need to install the latest version of Sonicbirth (1.31) before using these plugins. Required system : OS X 10.3.9 with Quicktime 7.
Compatible hosts : Amadeus Pro, Bidule, CPS, Cubase SX, (Logic Pro 8), Max/Msp, Nuendo, Protools TDM with FXPansion wrapper, PureData, Reaper, SndSampler, (Soundtrack Pro 2), Tracktion, Twisted Waves. Bidule and Reaper are highly recommended !
Note : there is actualy a problem with multichannel plugins made with Sonicbirth and some AU hosts like Logic Pro and Soundtrack Pro. I will try to solve it as soon as i can... They don't work at all with Cubase 4 and there is no GUI in Digital Performer.

	5.1 Surround Module :
	- stereo input with separate position control for each voice - global setting of the level according to the distance - additionnal adjustment for the center channel - low cut filter and separate level for the LFE channel - visual indicator of the level of each speaker - mono input version (SpatSurround 1X) Applications : replacement of the 5.1 module in Cubase SX, Nuendo or Logic Pro (with true stereo control !), provides surround mixing to Tracktion...

	A n i m a S p a t 2 X
5.0 Surround Module with modulations of the spatial position :
	- stereo input - two low frequency generators (sinus and square) for continous movements - one random generator - the audio amplitude inputs can be used as a modulation source - all the modulations can be mixed together - smoothing parameter - mono input version (AnimaSpat 1X) - X/Y shift of the right input position for "true stereo" movements - graphical representation of the X and Y movements

	8 channels "surround" module :
	- two inputs to eight outputs - free arrangement of the eight speakers - separate area settings for each channel - global area setting - visual indicator for each virtual speaker intensity for the both inputs - compatible with the 7.x format - mono input version (SpatSurround 8X)

	8 channels "surround" module :
	- two inputs to eighteen outputs, 17.1 standard compatible - free arrangement of the speakers for greater precision or special spatial mass effects - global area setting -

	S i m p l e C o n v o 8 8 X (~multi / ~octo)
Eight channels simple convolution module :
	- eight inputs to eight outputs - simple convolution processor with no settings - global convolution / direct levels - eight lowpass filters - delay value compensation on the direct path - two versions : the ~multi version loads eight mono impulse files, wheras the ~octo version can load one octophonic audio file - compatible with aif and wav files Applications : acoustic simulations with impulse respons files, special effects with all other audio files !
		Free \| Version : 0.9a \| \| \|(599 kb)

	O c t o L o o p e r X
Looping and speed variations of octophonic files :
	- integrated wav and aif 8 channels files player (in RAM) - compatible with other interleaved files with less channels... - bidimensionnal control of the loop points - automatic reversed playback if the end point is set before the start point - the playback speed can be controlled by MIDI - automatic low-pass filter for low speeds

	M u l t i S a m p l e r 1 6 X
	Polyphonic multiphonic sample player :
	- wav and aif sixteen channels files player (or less) : attention, the files are loded into RAM - sixteen direct outputs - realtime control of the loop points - multichannel low-pass filter with resonance - simple Attack / Release enveloppe - 16 notes polyphonic... BUT attention to the CPU with more than 3 or 4 voices !
